I didn't know but I can totally relate, lost my brother in 2003 of a brain tumor, we did many events, anyway, this is fantastic! Love the unique style!
A fabulous tribute to your dear sister. Beautiful set of photos and great use of the rainbow setting and gorgeous shower of stars to bring in the magic.
This is a great tribute, Sharon! Love this page at all! Great design, the cool sewing, a smart way to put the journaling around a rainbow! Fabulous work!
What a beautiful design and tribute to your sister. Love the rainbow, title, stitching and all the stars dangling (yet dancing) and the story behind this design. Its great that you do this. Hopefully, there will be a cure one day. x to you
oh my there such a very beautiful magical memory creation, and so love the way you set your precious fotos under the gorgeous rainbow, wonderful tribute to your darling sister, ...hoping very soon we can rid of that dreaded cancer......xo
I love this page, but I really love the story behind it! Love the wooden stars on the strings, the rainbow and your journaling. Wonderful tribute and memories!
Love your big, bold title, and the journaling around the rainbow!! Also the hanging stars are wonderful!! An amazing page that honors your sister and also your family's commitment to finding a cure. Fabulously creative and inspirational!
what a WONDERFUL tribute. a lovely and worthwhile cause in remembrance of Cathy. Her spirit and memory continues to live in your hearts and minds Sharon. I love the addition of the wooden stars- they are awesome. Love the rainbow too and how you placed your journaling around it.
Those hanging stars are so.... fantastic, awesome, beautiful, fun, etc! What a cool idea! Love the whole lo. There are so many cool things to look at including the stitching. However, I particularly enjoyed the journaling - what a beautiful tribute!
I made this layout for the current Challenge YOUrself blog - it's a blog that asks you to scrap using photos with YOU in them! I love that concept, since I rarely have photos with ME in them!!
This is the anniversary of my sister, Cathy's death. I know that many of you know that she passed away after a long battle with ovarian cancer on June 7, 2003. My family has participated in the Teal Ribbon 5K each year since her death. My journaling reads" It was like magic - like Cathy was with us when we did the Teal Ribbon 5K this year! We have walked/ran every year since it began and I fell her presence there."
