LO of our DGD at her school performing in the Living Museum
Journaling: I was short on space and the sentences seem choppy, but I think I captured the gist.
The Living Museum school project is a clever way to give a repot. You and your 5th grade classmates chose a person on interest and made a disply board telling their story. You also had todress up as the character. You chose Deborah Sampson. She was a woman who fought in the Revolutionary War. She disguised herself as her brother who perished in the war. Your report was quite lengthy and you memorized the entire thing.
When parents, relatives and friends entered the room they found it fullof "statues". Someone would push your "button" to hear the report. (as you might do in a museum.). It was quite noisyas many were talking at once. You did an outstanding job! You didn't look at your notes at all. Afterwards you said that you had to repeat Deborah Sampson's story THIRTEEN TIMES!
Background paper: Authentique. Title cut with cricut cart Calligraphy, The Discover bingo card is Simple Stories Take a Hike.
