We got a total of 7 1/2 inches of rain in 2 hours, and the run-offs and dry creeks came alive and started roaring. We (my son and I) went for a walk in the rain (durring a lighter period of the storm) and adventured out to the flatlands of the valley. I caught him running toward one of the many run-offs that goes to the dry creek we live by. I entered the "INSPIRATION CHALLENGE ROUND 36 and was given Kajan's LO .:Fabulous:.

and I thought why not try to use these photos. The Black rings are a homemade gesso, the black textured ink splatters are Peobo Modeling texter "Black Sands" and the flower emblishments were some old fabric flowers from my mother's flower collection. I also used Mudd Puddles pebble beach for the lil' pebbles. The small rocks, drift wood etc I picked up out of our yards near the area of the flood waters. Thanks so much for looking!
