This is a super cool hombre effect! Its subtle but graphic too! It kind of makes me a little teary to see Cassie so young. Now she is out of high school! Wow! Love the page.
Perfect! Adorable outfit Cassie picked out - how perfect for the holidays! I especially love the pictures of her holding Abigail! Very cool the way you used the strips of paper in the background with the sparkle or metallic touches. I bet this one is really gorgeous in person where you can see all the sparkle and shine!
These are photos of my dd and our dog in front of the Christmas tree on Christmas Eve 2009. I do these photos of her in her Christmas outfit every year when we are about to leave to drive to Indiana for the evening. She's 12 here, and she loved this outfit - silver sequined and tulle skirt, silver sequined flats, metallic leggings, beaded sweater, and cami tank with metallic stitching. She really sparkled. LOL
This is my example for my July Four Categories Challenge - Category Three ~ Technique: Ombre. I used 9 different scraps of pp and metallic or glitter cs to go from light gray/silver to dark gray/black. The twist is stickers - I used old 3D vinyl stickers, flourish stickers, silver Class-a-Peels stickers, and a journaling sticker.
This is for the July Music Challenge - Artist. Silver was a country rock band in the 70's. For the button twist, I sewed on 1 silver, 1 black glitter, and 2 clear glitter buttons.
I used an August 2008 PageMap. In addition to the buttons, I sewed on some silver iridescent sequins and clear glass beads.
Other products: Paper: My Mind's Eye; Recollections; ? Stickers: Stampendous; Me & My Big Ideas; Jolee's Silver button: Paper Studio Sequins: Hobby Lobby Clear Stardust pen: Sakura thread; glass beads; black cs
