Give a Cheer
Hi! I'm sharing a specimen drawer that I created for Canvas Corp today. The scientist in me loves entomology and I'm always up for a trip to the zoo or museum to view insects either alive or beautifully preserved in a display case. The first insect to catch my eye on the fabric panel was the moth. It immediately reminded me of this beauty from one of my favorite films, The Silence of the Lambs. I didn't have a Death's Head Hawk Moth for my project, so I painted fabric insects with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist to fill my drawer, which was a bit more fun as I was able to use Canvas Corp Brands products! I can display this piece flat or hang it on the wall. This project comes together in a few simple steps.
