The woman in this picture is my best friend. She and her husband have kids my age (whom I love like siblings), but I adore these two people the most. I met them while knocking on doors to build up my client base. They did become clients, but they also became so much more. Jen is my best scrapbuddy. We talk about scrapping probably 2-3 times a week. Best part is she has a 3 year old DGD and two new grandbabies... so we have a lot in common scrapwise. She is an amazing woman... two degrees and stayed home to raise 4 AMAZING children. Seriously, I have never met a more loving, friendly, educated, smart, & real family in my whole life. I feel blessed to have found and adopted them into my life. Her husband Tom is also one of my most favorite people. He has lived an interesting life and still managed to be the most shining example of a husband and father I have ever seen. Plus he and my DH get along really well and share all sorts of things in common. They have even taken on loving my DD. Because thats the kind of people they are...and I love that DD has these wonderful people in her life.

This little bug eye'd sprite is very signifigant because Tom bought it when he retired. He had never put himself at the top of the priority list in 40 years, until they day he bought this. And he LOVES it. Even though he got the car months sooner I asked them to pose in the car with Santa hats on because I still hadn't scrapped the occation of him getting it. It wasn't until I was making the LO that I thought of this awesome title...Stano is their last name.

This LO was inspired by Chillaxing by Tinadn.

I really liked the graphic diamond BG with the stamping over it, but when it came down to it I didn't have a diamond punch and didn't want to cut them out by hand...so I made a puzzel BG with the "To & From" tags and added the punched snowflakes over that. I think it still gives that ultra-layered look. Honestly this was a fun LO to make. I didn't think doing a Christmas in July LO would feel right, but it was actually really fun...like a little taste of the season....(which has already started to show its head at HL; can you believe it??!?)
