Elizabeth you have created such a beautiful card!!! Your beautiful mix of pprs, and the ink & distress make it a shabby-chic masterpiece! Love the ctr image~
Wow, this is so elegant. I love all the distressing and inking you did. I wish I could do that and not have it just look ratty. There is definitely an art to it and you have mastered it. Love the lace and pearls and beautiful vintage prints. Gorgeous work.
Elizabeth, This card is GORGEOUS! And you and Meggie's Nana are making me laugh! It is me beginning to try to fashion my cards after both of you so I can LEARN!! This one is definitely going in my favorites!
What a pretty card!!! It's great when things turn out really well even tho you had something else in mind. Guess that's called creativity!! Lots of work in this one and fun too.
Oh for the love girl, you don't have to fashion a card after mine! This is oh my word gorgeous ! I love the papers, layers, the lace, flowers, touch of cheesecloth & pearls AND the butterfly....I think I covered everything. Ohhhh your distressing is perfect too! Don't you love it when you make something & it REALLY makes you smile!:)) Fave for me and you have my address!:)
I must say that I REALLY enjoyed making this card. I worked on it in bits and pieces over a couple of days. I printed out the image from my Pinterest folder "Pleasing Printables" and it was really easy choosing the papers to go along with it. I had originally planned to fashion it after one of my friend's (Meggie's Nana) cards but once I got started I could see it taking on a life of its own! I just distressed the edges of just about everything and added TH Victorian Velvet inking around edges. I used the corner pieces I had cut out for the flags as you can see. Added stickles to the pretty dress form and all around here and there on the roses. This card is definitely a favorite of mine! :-)
Thank you so much for stopping by my gallery!
