This is a first for me, first time I have made a whole page without the pictures being printed. This will be the first time I have had my pictures printed with a specific size in mind, usually I cut (photos) to fit when designing a page. This is the first time I have used products that I have purchased in the last two days with the newest Cricut cartridge I received. The cost of this two page layout is about $2 maybe less... how do I figure that, well the paper comes out to 8 cents a sheet, I used three. The embellishments (paper) are from scraps where their monetary value was used in other layouts/cards. The ink decreases in cost every-time I use them and I use them frequently. The Hodge Podge hardware has several hundred pieces in each box (too long ago to remember, just trying to use them up) so at most they cost me 20 cents each, Just taking a wild guess there... The twine is a 400 yard roll and I used 1 foot... 8 cents. Now the stamp, well that stamp was $7 and I have only used it once but it will never be "used up" and with three grand sons and one GGS I have lots of plans for that stamp and I could probably sell it for $2 - $3 down the road.... The Cricut to cut the dies cost me only $29 as the the rest I got back in free images. I have been using it for for three years which makes it pennies a day!!!
I could rationalize on and on and in reality this does not have to be an expensive craft. I have been building my supplies for 20 years and plan on using them for 20 more!
