You call him Beetle?!

Yes, we call our boy Beetle. Here's how it happened. His real name is Ryan Duke. His middle name came from my DH's late father, whose nickname was Duke. So ... Ryan Duke turned into Ryan D., then just D, then Deedle, then Deedle Beetle, then Beetle! And it stuck. Even his big sisters call him Beetle now!

For Michelle's (imagine.lilacs) No Shopping Challenge. I distressed the edges of all the chipboard on the page; sanded the green half-circle; sanded the edges of the photo.
I'm not thrilled with how this turned out. I had GREAT ideas about this page & have been wanting to scrap it for a long time. We've called our DS "Beetle" for about a year now. Anytime we're out in public and we talk about him, or call out to him, invariably people say "You call him Beetle?!" Even my grandmother disapproves!!
