Some great coloring of the leaves. Like the texture and dimension of them. I wish the golden sticks (not a word combination that I often use) were better visible in the photo because I'm thinking the real life look is even more amazing.
Stunning job with the background paper and leaves. I do believe I can hear them crunching now, lol! Your photo is awesome, and the pennants add interest.
Wow - a huge amount of work went into this lo, but I reckon you achieved exactly what you wanted! The wreath of autumn leaves is gorgeous and the photo is just adorable!
This is GORGEOUS!!!! LOVE your combo of leaves and colors in the wreath and LOVE how you did the bg ppr! What a great way to 'make' your own papers! :) Wonderful artwork here!
This is fabulous! I love that you painted the paper to get the dark grain wood you wanted and I see why the light woodgrain wouldn't have worked as well! Your leaves are perfect for this and I love how you arranged them around the photo. Awesome layout!
Those leaves the wood background are amazing. You painted them beautifully. What a precious photo. Well done on the wreath of leaves around the photo. It is truly a work of art.
I really wanted to do the Autumn Bliss challenge so I dug through some old photos of a Thanksgiving vacation we took in NC a couple years ago. Ironically the picture was taken inside, but since DD is wearing a snuggly warm onsie and a cool filter was added to the picture of her and her grandmother it conveyed just the right Autumn spirit. I knew I had to incorporate the colors Orange, Yellow and Brown, but I also wanted to really dig into that natural vibe. I wanted to hear the leaves crunching. So I die cut and punched a whole bunch of leaves on white paper and then painted them with watercolors. But then I hit a road block. I really wanted a wood grained BG paper but the only whole paper sheets I had were light colored. Specifically this awesome paper had flaking bark on it--> awesome! Except it was white and really washed out the picture and my leaves. Aghh!! Luckily my friend said "just paint it too." So I painted the paper and added a vignette and a ring of shadow to go under the leaves and add dimension. Then I used metallic gold paper to make the tiny stick punches, but you can't really see it in the picture. Any whoo I had fun making this. I hope you like it too. TFL
