Celia, this is really great. I love those old photos and you did a wonderful job with this one. One day I will get around to doing layouts with my early 1900's pics! Good job!
No Shopping Challenge:Distressed page. The 'Book' opens and show the bear hanging from the tree in the front yard. Please see next Photo in my Gallery of the Bear Hanging. The first article is about my Grandpa killing bear the guy down the road shot, but it kept going, so Grandpa had Grandma bring him an ax, and he hit it over the head with it, and killed it.The bear in the photo was stealing a pig. Grandma saw him walking across the hill out the kitchen window, and told Grandpa it looked like a man up there walking along with a pig under his arm. Grandpa & the dog, Rex, went out, only to see this bear making off with the livestock! Grandpa's on the right with the gun, and my Cousin Calvin sitting on the bear, and my Dad right behind next to the dog that helped track the bear down. the other guy and his kids lived down the road. The letters I'm in the process of now re coloring so that they will show up better, say: My Brave Grandpa. The Date plate was rubber stamped with bleach& edged with bleach.
The top right photo is my Grandpas face up closer, and Rex, the Hunting Dog beneath his.
