This is a page from my grandma's journal from June 1, 1916 through August 22, 1916, from the time she met my grandfather until they became engaged. I wish I could have used the original journal in her own handwriting, but it was written in pencil on both sides of the tablet paper. I typed it exactly as she wrote it. There are a few pages missing, but most of it is here.
The three photos at the top of this page are the only authentic family photos in this album. The other small photos are just embellishments. I don't have any photos of Grandma. :(
