This LO was SO much fun to do! For the Autumn Bliss challenge I wanted to do something very colorful and utilize my Gelatos. I also wanted to try this drippy technique that seems so popular lately. And Fall is my favorite time of year.

The problem was choosing the picture. Of course 'Fall' in Southern California is rather ellusive - palm trees don't generally change color... Now I had lots of photos I've been wanting to scrap from the harvest trips to the farm, but after doing the background, they just didn't fit.

Then I remembered these fun photos I took last November at a local park where the leaves actually change color. This one was by far my favorite photo of DH playing in the leaves and voila - Autumn Bliss!

For the drip technique, I used gesso on the bg, let it dry overnight, then scribbled the gelatos over and used my finger to blend before spritzing with water and letting it drip down the page. LOVE how it turned out! I also used gelatos to color the chipboard and fabric leaves.

Also for the Hoarders challenge - that title is as old as my scrapbooking and so are the fabric leaves and flowers! For Boys will be Boys and Boys and Girls challenges as well.

TFL!
