The Nest

This one is a special one for me, there's a story behind it. . .my best friend lives in Florida in a quaint house from the 1950's. She had a bird's nest in the tree in her yard, and she watched it - the mother came, babies hatched and left the nest. I don't remember what kind of birds they were but she said they never use the same nest twice, and it was perfect. So she saved it. She always like the idea that southern houses had names, so she's calling her house "The Nest", and has the little nest under a bell jar in her front foyer. I just decided that she needs a "sign" to welcome everyone to "The Nest" :-)


layouts scrapbooking I used multiple papers on this one - lots of Graphic 45 Botanical paper lots of flowers tags chipboard buttons and bling. I stamped a bird in the corner using my Memento pens & spraying the stamp to give a watercolor affect. Distre
