Blue Curacao is also great in a drink called Blue Hawaiian - I think it might be coconut rum but not sure. What a lovely port this was. And hmmmm bitterballen
The blue, orange and white color combination - great together. I never would have thought of that combination and it really works! That picture of the buildings from this angle is really cool. Thank you for taking me here with you - now I want to pack my bags and a really go there!
Instead of the free ferry, the officials gladly connected the pontoon bridge just for us. Tee-hee! We were able to get some marvelous photos of the most famous site in Curacao - the multi-colored buildings on the bay. We stopped at a casino to cool off. The heat was taking its toil on the Alaskans. We enjoyed some air conditioning, cold libations, and a new food - bitterballen. Yum! We did some shopping at the port area and had our first taste of blue curacao. Yes, we all bought a bottle once we found out it was great in Margaritas! Alas, we had to leave Curacao. Next stop Miami. Darn it!
