love the rich colors here and wow you did such a good job with the heat embossing, your photo is precious again, and the format wonderful. this is such a sweet page. I love your gallery ;)
Wow! I just visited your site this morning and already there is a new layout. I'm so glad your parents are doing so much better. This is just a beautiful Fall layout. I have no idea how to use embossing powder - bought some - don't know why. But you certainly did a great job with it! Beautiful!!!
Another gorgeous page!!!! You did a fantastic job with that heat embossing! I may have to get my stuff out and play!!! I'm so glad your parents got to join you all for family fun!!! Great page!
Beautiful job. I haven't attempted embossing as of yet, but I have thought about giving it a try. Now that you've tried it out, what do you think of it?
OK, I just found a new toy to play with. DH bought a heat gun for household tasks (all I could think was SCRAPBOOKING!!) So I picked up some embossing powders. This is my first attempt. I used at stitching stamp by Technique Tuesday to create the gold embossing above and below the journaling, a Heidi Swapp stamp to make the word 'cherish' at the side and a Tim Holtz stamp to create the harlequin pattern in the top right corner.
This page is about how thrilled we all were this past weekend when both my parents decided they felt well enough to join us on our annual apple picking trip.
