"Leaving Footprints in the Sand" is in loving memory of my grandma this holiday season. Every year, she would come over for Thanksgiving, and for Christmas she would spend a night or two. She was a major part of our Christmas and she will always be missed.
My adhesive of choice for this one was mainly Original Tacky Glue. To make the background, I used Liquitex Gesso (dry brushed with Prima's mixed media brush set), homemade texture paste, and a DecoArt stencil and Prima stencil. Then I used many layers of Color Bloom sprays and used a Tim Holtz background cling stamp to add more depth/texture. I had an old bracelet with seashells on it, so I decided I would use the shells *hehe* To make the flowers, I added some vintage gold glass glitter to the centers. Using Golden Regular Gel (Semi-Gloss), I spread a nice layer over parts of the title to make it shiny and adhered the little bit of cheesecloth under the photo with it. I think that's all! :-)
P.S. That is me to the far left in the water... Time sure flies.
