In my country we don't wait till Christmas morning to open the presents. Santa comes at midnight, on Christmas Eve, kids and adults hide in the bedrooms before the clock strikes 12 and come out five minutes later to find the presents under the tree. Then we all open them.
As there are no kids in our household, we place the presents by the tree at any time on Christmas Eve. The top pics show me and two of my kids (the ones who live here with me) at midnight before opening the presents.
The bottom pics are captures from the computer screen taken during our usual chat with my middle son who lives abroad.
