Great page and fantastic design! Love how you cut the photo in a circle which is very unique and interesting. Love the colors and... well, actually love it all !
There is another cute little squirrel! I love this page - so much cool layering! Enamel dots are one of my favorite things to use on a layout and I love the way you used them here! How very cool to see a herd of bison on the side of the street. I love all the animal life we see when we are in that part of the country. I love the wildlife you see in South Dakota - you never know what you will see next!
Side roads are always wonderful and you never know what surprise lays ahead. How fun you found bison! The layering is wonderful and I really like the arrows.
This another LO from our South Dakota trip in 2012. This one is telling about finding the Bison herd(s) down a side road.
Journaling reads: After searching in the usual places for the bison herd, we finally decided to head to the Wildlife Visitor's Center and ask if anyone could tell us where we might be able to find them. The people there, in fact, knew exactly where to look. Unfortunately, the only way to get there was a bumpy old gravel road. Pictured above is a wood plank bridge that we had to cross in order to get to them and also an image of the dust our car picked up on that drive. Still, what we found was pretty impressive. We ended up seeing not one, but two wild herds of bison. Those seen in the bottom photo, on the far side of the fence, are actually the Custer State Park bison. Those on the closer side, are in Wind Cave National Park. We even witnessed as a couple from each herd played together despite the fence barrier. Even so, from now on, (my DH) claims he'll keep exclusively to the main roads of the parks. The little squirrel was cut with an Impression Obsession die. There will be a squirrel of some sort on each page/ two pager of this travel album. The title and the arrow were on my Silhouette machine. The "Wildlife Viewing" is from an unidentified sticker set. The "Rugged" is from one done by Paper Studios. The embossing on the circle was done with Cuttlebug's Polka Dots 5x7 folder. The stamped "X" in the upper right corner of the yellow sheet was from a set by Stampendous called Travel Words.
