First of all, thank you, Nora, for your advice for painting the owl's eyes and your suggestion to add Stickles to the hat and lending me yours; those ideas brought this little guy to life.
I painted this little owl last weekend, and I've been trying to figure out how to put him into a card. I decided on the tone-on-tone background but I needed something else. I checked out the envelope of die-cuts April sent me for the Die-Cut Swap and found this wonderful Impression Obsession twig wreath. I embossed it with ivory embossing powder, and it looks great! Thank you, April. (It looks white here, but in real life, it's a creamy ivory.
