How to get old rub-ons to stick! : )

Well, take a look at the left side. The white flourish did NOT want to rub off the sheet and onto the paper.
I looked at the copy right and realized these rub-ons were 5 years old!
Though they were kept in the original plastic wrapping, they dried out.
I took the repositionable glue and spread it very lightly (w/ my finger) around the area I wanted the rub-on to be. Let it sit for a minute and then added the rub-on like you would normally do. Worked beautifully! : )
