Your journaling is perfect, I feel the same way for my hometown of Chennai, India which is now flooded from disastrous rains. What you wrote touched me coz that's how I feel.
Lovely page, especially the background.
A really cool page! I love how you explained your love of the two places. I love it here in Wyoming but eastern Nebraska will always be "back home" :o)Ro
I feel the actual same way about the Caribbean. I LOVE everything about this LO. I never thought the "beach" of Ireland could be so beautiful. I always think it is gray and stormy. Thanks for straightening me out.
jnl reads,"I call both Ireland and Alaska home, We visit Ireland once a year but my heart and thoughts remain there between visits. I love Alaska but occasioally I hear the siren call of my first home; a voice or a smell or a song triggers old memories and I am instantly transported back in time. I know things hae changed there now but the essence remains. I love the people with their cutting sense of humour, direct ways and down to earth attitudes. I love the patchwork countryside, stormy seas and yes, even the rain. I sometimes yearn to be closer but realise my heart has never left." I used papers from Pink PAislee, Basic Grey, Authentique, Pink Paislee sheer elements, Studio Calico wood hearts and arrow, Heidi Swapp acrylic gloe, KAiserkraft word diecut and clock my fav adhesive is my ATG and MArtha Stewart glue pen
