I love the stitching (how appropriate) and the stamping. I had neuroma surgery on both feet - at different times - though my doctor went in from the bottom. I remember I couldn't wait to take a shower without that waterproof boot too!
Oh, ouch. It makes my toes hurt. Hope it was worth it and you feel better. Your toe next to the big toe is bigger. That is a sign of intelligence!!! But we already knew that. Tee-hee! I like you stitched under the title.
Oh my gosh Lisa - that looks so painful! And foot surgery is so difficult because you have to get around. I'm glad this surgery is behind you and hope you are walking around pain free now! You scrapped it very nicely but looking at it makes me hurt for what you went through!
This is a LO about my neuroma surgery in 2009 - Pics are from 5 days post-op and 14 days post-op when I went to get my stitches out. I've blurred the actual stitches so as not to gross anyone out. The real version is attached.
Journaling says: Five days post-op, my foot was bruised and still bloody and covered in iodine because I couldn't get it wet. Two weeks post-op, I went to get my stitches out. I couldn't wait to be able to shower without the waterproof boot!
I used a December 2015 PageMap for this. I did some machine stitching under the title and across a couple of the pp pieces, and I sewed on the two buttons. I stamped the 'life details' sub-title and the grid pattern on the upper left.
