You pictures really captured the fun of the fair. And those colors are sooo great...its exciting...rather than fall themed (as many fair LOs often are). (not that I don't love fall themes, but this is just unexpected and awesome!)
It sounds strange, but I don't think of Alaska as having a state fair. You got some great images of the displays there. Like your pink roses that tie into the floral photo.
What fun to go to a state fair! I've never been to one and they always look like they are so much fun when you see them on TV and in the movies! You kept your perfect balance on this one and used a lot of photos. The punch work is really a pretty touch and I love the way you double matted two photos so they really stand out!
I'm still try to finish up some super old photos. This one was extremely challenging in that I cut up the photos years ago. I don't remember what I was going to do with them so I had to start again. I really wanted to include the brochure so I made a pocket in the upper left corner and slipped in right in. First time I used pickles raspberry ink. Dang...it is bright! This year's giant vegetable was a 75.75 pound rutabaga which made a state national and world record and was even showcased on the David Letterman Show. That was a big deal for us Alaskans! Thanks so much for looking and happy holidays to everyone.
