I wanted to be inspirational for my children....but when it comes to kids being real is a whole 'nother story!
journaling reads:
"My Mum used to say, "Life is like a box of chocolates." No. "Your face is going to stay that way." No. "Let your brother play with your barbies." YES! But no. "Paybacks happen when you have your own children." All those rules i dreade as a kid. It seems like there were a million of them. Well, o.k. There may have been only twenty or so. I've whittled those down to less than 20 for my own children. And they don't include the mandatory "make your bed," "brush your teeth," "don't bite your sister." I know they dread the rules, just like I did. That's o.k.
After all, sometimes Mother is right."
