Being recently retired, I LOVE the poem!!! With the big smile on his face, he is really enjoying retirement. Nice use of masculine colors.

If I can raise my boys to be half the man my dad is I will consider my job a parent to be a raging success.

I used some button from one of my grandmothers at the top. The card is yellowed and the buttons were sewn to the card with long stitches...almost hated to cut the thread.

Also used:
Patterned paper with the "father" phrase from my stash
Black Ribbon

Dad retired this year. This was taken on a golf course in Florida (Last year, since we are now 2016!!)
