#2 in a series of 12 Artist Trading Cards.
The series is an interpretation of an old rhyme from English or Scottish folklore about Magpies (or in North America, Crows). Crows are believed to be prophetic, and the 12 verses are superstition.
I was inspired by a modern version authored by Stephen Roxburgh and Heidi Holder. I credit the author and artist for the verse and the images of the crows on each of the cards in this series.
