Give a Cheer
So, every year I take a weeks vacation to work Vacation Bible School at my church. Been doing this for...oh.... about 12 years (Ben was 3).
Because I am a nurse I am in charge of the snacks due to the number of diabetics and kids with allergies. I am sporting my sexy glasses because one of the 3 yr olds accidentally threw sprinkles...into my eye...the day before.
Every year I "dress up" in a costume that relates to the theme. Kingdom Rock was one of my all time favorites. King's Kitchen was rocking....and I was rocking my cape I make out of curtains, fur trim and rhinestones.
It is very out of character for me...and usually one of the folks at work takes a pic of me while they are dropping off their kids and I get teased for a few weeks.
Love every minute of it!
