This project is about my heritage and a New Year’s game that was played in Japan. Hanetsuki game is similar to badminton (hitting a birdie back and forth with a paddle). It is rarely played now and the paddle became more of a New Year’s decorative piece in the home. This is my take of the paddle created with cardstock and 3D Foam Shapes from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.
