This is my beloved brother. My journaling just talks about how close we are yet we are so far away from each other. My brother and I were 17 and 16 on the "older" photo. To achieve the look on the phrase tags'cherish and memories', I use a technique that requires lotion or vasaline. I crumpled the tags and iron them out. Next I smeared vasaline over the entire phrase and areas where I didn't want the acrylic paint to stick. Then I took a paper towel and gentle wipe away the acrylic paint from the areas that were vasalined. Seems like a lot for two little tags huh? I aged the journaling note by soaking it in coffee then I allow it to dry before printing on it. I punched three holes on the side and folded it to give it an appearance of a real note. Some of the embellies are earrings and little things I found at a flea market for twenty-five cent each. TFL!!
