WOW - I am always too scared to to take photos whilst they sleep but this was certainly worth it. Sensational... Love the blanket effect of turning over - very clever
oh wow.... I've never seen a layout done like this before, where you actually have the fabric made to look like the blanket pulled down.. that is brilliant. I so love this! Gorgeous photo and sweet precious poem. This is a beautiful page ;)
Oh my goodness!! were to start...what a cute photo and your fabric and stitching are the perfect touch for this page....your journaling is just amazing and so beautiful!!
This is fabulous! I love the fabric! is it one piece or did you piece it?? What a LOT of work this was! The poem so goes with this whole LO. I love it!
This is my first attempt at a one page lo, and also my first time using fabric and machine stitching. I had lots of fun! Anyway, this is my dd sleeping after a wedding a couple of weeks ago, she looks so angelic. The journaling reads:
There's not a sound, there's not a sigh As I tiptoe down the hall. I open up your door and see you lying there so small.
Your lips are slightly parted, your breathing is soft, sweet sighs. Your lashes make a heavy fringe beneath your sleeping eyes.
I brush your soft hair from your face, you stir beneath my touch, and then I pray that you will know that you are loved so much.
My prayers were answered on the day you came into this world. God took a bit of daddy and me and formed this precious girl.
His hands will always hold you And He will be your guide. I pray that you will always seek to walk right by His side.
