Give a Cheer
Here's my page for the Christmas Day 2015 challenge, although technically this is the evening of Christmas Day. We'd gone to church late on Christmas Eve and then DS woke up with attitude the next morning so i wasn't able to get a picture of the two kids infront of all their presents and the tree. SO I staged this shot after their baths that night and I looove how they all turned out! This was my favorite since they're both smiling AND looking at the camera! So it is Christmas Day, just at night... it still counts! LOL
As soon as I saw the stunning page "Joy" by Jan Hobbins seen here: I knew I wanted that whole Christmas on Market Street line! And I knew I was going to lift that page exactly! Well almost.... I thought I had a sizzix die or a cricut cart that would cut poinsettas, but apparently not - so I improvised! The large one is just several red fall leaves cut and glued together. I quite like the result actually. I added some gold Stickles to the tips and used my new Timmy foilage die (another LOVE) along with some OLD embellies and some tiny Christmas bells. And voila! SO happy with the results!
