We drove the 25 miles up Kenai Spur Highway to the park named for Captain James Cook who in 1778 explored what is now known as Cook Inlet. We had a blast walking on the beach, collecting agates and just enjoying Spring! Two bald eagles flew by us and landed in a tree on the bluff. How cool was that? We even were lucky enough to see Denali too. I took photos of the agates and used them for the title. Thank you so much for your visit.
