OMGosh, baby doll shoes! I didn't realize they've been around forever! There is something so romantic about vintage work, its delicate laces, bits and pieces are all that's needed to add a perfect touch of dimension, and boost the vintage feel of a piece. Beautiful done!
Absolutely beautiful! Love the photo and she is darling. You showcase her lovely vintage look with beautiful chipboard (I love Blue Fern! too), lovely laces, and you'll have to share your trick for getting your seam binding to curl like that, its just precious! Big Hugs ~ Dawna
What a wonderful photo! She is adorable and I love that she was a member of your family, too. You framed her photo beautifully, my friend! And you are always so thoughtful, too!
That is a wonderful family photo! You have scrapped it beautifully. I like the neutral colours you used, which allow the photo to be the main focal point. I think that hanging it from a ribbon would look fabulous!
Oh my Missy this is so shabby chic, vintage lovely! Let me see...what do I love about this? EVERYTHING! I love how you did the 3 layers of lace & especially the bottom one is really pretty. The cb is gorgeous & the crackle is a great touch to the vintage look. Look how you placed all those wee pearls here & there. Love the bow & the material streaming down (so clever you are)! The photo of Margaret is precious & someone is really going to treasure this! As always, I have to put your things in fave!:) I think I just wrote a book. THE END!
This l/o may hang from a ribbon - or I might just mount this on a 12X12 ppr; I don't know yet : ) But will probably mail it off; so I thought I would share~
The photo is my late husbands great-aunt; Margaret. I like working with vintage images of family whenever possible. (though the copy I made grabbed the violet rays...) Isn't she a cutie?! I fell in love with her sweet face and those shoes! and scrunchy sox~
I used a large corner chipboard from Blue Fern. I have had it for so long; glad to find it a home~ The btm left corner is Blue Fern also. I aged and crackled away! *for close up of the aging please take peek @ the next photo) There are vintage laces, strips of cotton, linen and seam binding. Glitter Glass (diamond) from Reneabouquets Etsy shop. Some pearls and gems. Butterflies from Prima. Thanks so much! For stopping by~ Karen
