Week 2, Team 1 of the February Round Robin at Swirlydoos, following Bec's page with the stenciling and doilies and flowers laid out so beautifully was a pleasure - such a gorgeous road map to follow!!! I've kept her basic design pretty much intact, flipping the photos, but otherwise staying with the flow of her layout.
I think I've met all of Kim's twists. 1. Lots of "couples" here, among them 2 people in 2 photos, 2 stencils, 2 different punched edges, 2 layers of lace on the ends, 2 butterflies, 2 hearts, 2 bird cages (thanks, Jan!)... 2. Some of my remaining Prima Stationer's Desk paper from the March 2014 kit was perfect here. I've used Fine Print for the layering and embellishing and Red Romance for my background. 3. Hearts!!! made using a Martha Stewart mold and embossing powder, following Kim's tutorial. (The cornstarch that I used in the mold caused a bit of a light finish, but I like the effect.) 4. Flowers, bling, chipboard, metals were easy. Heaven knows I have those...
The "couple" in my photo are my DS and DIL, who celebrated their 13th anniversary last October.
