A favorite photo taken on a beautiful evening in Silver City, NM last autumn. Something about the scene spoke of the essence of that place, which is one of my favorite spots on earth.
I ruined one side of the Authentique pp I was going to use for the bg so I had to revise my plan but was able to salvage at least that inspiring quote and the red mat (the back side of the ruined sheet). I had thought of using the overlay earlier so I went back to that - that's another 'older than the hills' item from my stash, saved for something special.
I think I'll use this as the beginning page of my trip as one of the purposes of that trip was to see if I still liked the area as much as I did 20 years ago and if it would be a suitable retirement spot. Yes, and maybe.
