When you opened our cabin doors there is a short hallway to the main room where the bed and desk are. To the right off that short hallway is the bathroom on one side and the closet on the other. That layout is pretty standard in most cruise ship cabins.

Bill has saved decorations from the dining room - the walls of silver strips and put them aside to save for a special event. This was the special event.

She hung the piece over the hall door opening going into her room just past her bedroom so when you walked into her cabin you walked about 7 or 8 feet and then went through the wall of silver stuff. It was really cool!

In fact she left it up in her cabin for the duration of the cruise!

Also of Bill's birthday dinner in the dining room with the servers singing happy birthday to him. Actually, the lower right picture was taken in Jan's cabin I think. This is actually the left side of the layout.

This looks like I got a lot fancier than I did. I purchased the 12 x 12 background paper online which had the balloons - it almost has a velum effect but it isn't.

Then there were matching overlays that had the same pattern but brighter so it would stand out against the paler background with the same pattern.

The brighter overlay (there were 2 of the overlays) - one had "happy Birthday" and the other had "Party Party Party"

I adhered the an overlay to each of the identical background papers and then scanned them. From there I worked with them digitally to get the pictures sized and placed where I wanted.
