21st Birthday Card

Here's a card I made for my best friend's son. He and my youngest are the same age (my Dan is about 4-1/2 months older) and they graduated together. I've known him since he was less than a year old!

Inspiration for this card came from Pinterest. I got the Darice Clocks background embossing folder from Hobby Lobby and thought I'd try it out! I embossed some nice off-white background paper first, then inked it in with TH distress inks in Faded Jeans, Vintage Photo, Aged Mahogany and Black Soot. Then I cut it in sections, used black Core'dinations premium textured card stock under that, then a new item I found....DCWV's Gauze Stack. Now that's some cool stuff! Black again and then the card base! The stamped clock is on Hot Off The Press Steampunk paper pack. The label is cut from Sizzix Ornate Labels die cut. Inked around the edges with Vintage Photo and stamped the HB verse. Added brads to it and the clock. 21 is Thickers Iguana. That's all there is to it! Oh yes, the inside stamping says "Make Every Moment Count" and under that it says "Celebrate With Style".
