Journaling is on the back and reads, " The first time I visited Destin was 1983 on a trip with my best friend Dawn, her Mom, aunt and nephew. We drove down a long peninsula to a private condo community. We couldn't even see another complex and restaurants were far and few between. Imagine my surprise In 2014, while vacationing in nearby Fort Walton Beach, we drove over the bridge linking the two beaches and this is what I saw. Destin was totally unrecognizable from what I remembered!! On my next trip, I'm renting a boat to go play out on the sandbar, it looks like so much fun!!
