Guilty as charged... I keep stealing ideas from Becky (SamsMom). B, you're LO's are so inspiring, keep it up, I'm actually getting caught up on these older pics! LOL!

Anyway, I found this particular design perfect for these birthday LOs. This one is of Devyn's first birthday (almost 2 years ago... *sniff*).

Journaling:
You’re a year old already, when did that happen? This year has gone by so fast I don’t know where to begin. You’re already an amazing little girl, full of joy and spirit and non-stop energy. You have given us countless memories that I will never forget, and filled a void our lives we never knew existed. More than anything, you’ve taught us lessons we didn’t know we needed to learn.

This birthday party, for example: Never have your birthday party on your birthday. That creates 3 days of absolute chaos with no breaks. Never let a one year old open birthday presents one day, then tell her the next that she can’t open the Christmas presents until Christmas, she won’t understand and her first temper tantrum will take place. Never put a white t-shirt on a one year old and give her her first cake piled high with green frosting. A one year old does not understand candles and why she can’t touch them, nor why she can’t blow them out 15 times over and over again. There was no need to spend hundreds of dollars on birthday presents, you were perfectly content with the bows on top. Never leave said bows laying on the floor or the cat will eat them.

All that (and probably much more) from one birthday party; imagine what all we learned in a year! Thank you for all that you’ve taught us, little girl. We love you, happy first birthday! 12.23.04
