I totally wasn't going to go in this direction with this photo but when the earth day colors challenge in the anything goes challenge I came up I thought it would be perfect. For the background paper I used my three fvorite distress ink combo-walnut stain, brushed corduroy and old paper. then sprayed some crushed olive and fossilized amber.

journaling - I'm a little obsessed with my avocado tree. I planted it about 10 years ago when it was only a fott tal. Now it soars to about 20 feet and gives us hundreds of avocados in a good year. I love to see the blooms in the spring with the bees busily pollinating.

The arrow points to a bee. I really should have stamped a bunch of bees instead of using the butterflies but I kind of got lazy!
