Give a Cheer
I colored up with Copic markers some cute girls from the Hatters stamp collection by The Greeting Farm, scanned into my computer, printed them out on a laser printer, and transferred the image onto the canvas with DecoArt image transfer medium.
The texture and inking around the edges of the canvas were made with an Americana stencil called pixelated, DecoArt Media shimmer mist in turquoise and Tattered Angel glimmer mist in blue icing.
The faux metal gears and the antique clock were made from recycled cereal boxes cut with Diemond Dies Steampunk Gears dies, Diemond Dies Steampunk Gears Mini Album dies, and Tim Holtz Alterations Weathered Clock dies. I painted them with DecoArt black gesso and then dabbed on DecoArt Metallic Lustre in black shimmer and silver spark with a rag to create the metal look.
I love having movement in my projects so I stapled a chain with gears and key charms to the lower right of the canvas, added a Tim Holtz faucet that turns, and attached the hands of the clock with a brad so they stayed movable.
