2 years ago for NSD I did a mini album with a 2-pager about the birds at my bird feeder, and I had to leave an empty space for this bird, as I just couldn't get his picture.
Journaling reads: Finally, after more than 2 years of teasing me at the bird feeder, I got a picture of this slippery Blue Jay. Several, in fact, so there!
For years, he has feasted at my bird feeder, only to fly away as soon as I had a camera in hand. I tried hiding behind (the)door; no luck.
I even tried going out the back door & sneaking around the house, but still off he flew, only to sit across the street and torment me.
But this day, as I sat next to the feeder, with my camera in my hand and a cat in my lap, he had to come check us out.

For silhouette challenge - the frame is my own design, the camera is from the store, journaling is banana sketch font from the store, and title font is informal.
