OMG! Stunning! Congrats on such a prestigious award - you certainly deserved it! I'm so going to have to show this to the barn manager next door who breds thoroughbreds!
Great photo! I was just curious, however, what kind of camera do you have? I am assuming it is professional quality. The reason I ask is I got the cheappie Best Buy special several years ago, just for ebay photos, and it has been great, no exaggerating I bet I have taken 30,000 photos if not more with it. Now that I am scrap booking I would like something better. One of the main features I am looking for is a shutter you can just hold down and the camera continually takes pictures, does yours do this. A few weeks ago my tiger cub pack was at Busch Gardens, they were standing in a wet zone, which meant every time the ride Shekra came by they got soaked. I tried so hard to get the right photo, I got just before the water, just after the water hit and finally the boys being rained on but it took three times around. Never fails just as soon as I hit the shutter my subject turns and I get a picture of the back of a head, particularly true with animals. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. You obviously know what you’re doing; this photo looks professional to me.
This photo is my Eclipse Award winning photo of 2005. The Eclipse Awards are Thoroughbred horse racing's version of the Grammys or the Oscars! It was a huge honor and I got a trip to Beverly Hills to accept my award. The thrill of a lifetime!
