Our dog Lucy had been used to ringing a bell on the back door when she wanted to go outside. This got to be a pain, especially when she rang the bell, and then changed her mind!
This page documents her experience with the dog door we got last month. She was very hesitant at first, barely touching her nose to it, but she eventually got it. Now she can go in & out as she pleases. A definite home improvement! :)

I used a sketch/stash challenge from the scrap our stash blog.
