I'm so excited to share with you my first heritage layout this year and the first one I've made since last November! In the picture is my Poppy and from left to right Aunt Eva, Mom, Aunt Jerry and Aunt Cleda. Mom looks to be about 5 years old to me so it would be around 1932, hence the tag at the bottom!

I love making heritage layouts and got a lot of enjoyment out of this one. It did come out much different than my original plans but that always seems to be the case for me! Lots of prep work took place and choosing my embellies took some time but I love the end result. I used 21 buttons from my mama's tin which makes it more special to me. Beads and pearls are from my stash.

I cut the doily and frame, as well as "family" and its frame on my Cricut using fruit snacks boxes, Reminisce and Potpourri Basket cartridges. I used Stampendous Shabby White embossing powder on "Family". On both frames I used Gesso and then inked in Aged Mahogany on the one under Family and heat embossed with Zing Clear Embossing Powder. On the frame I used Victorian Velvet, heat embossed once again and then rubbed Aged Mahogany over that. The doily I just rubbed Pumice Stone and Black Soot directly on it and heat embossed.

I used homemade texture paste with my Prima Stencil and when dried I rubbed a little Aged Mahogany over it.

The key is from Marylou (Meggie's Nana), the clay butterflies and bird are from Brandy (Jellybean), the off-white flower in between the hydrangea is from Mary (Abbygirl), the resin clocks are from Gone Artsy, the little button with roses on the left, spoon and ornate plate is from Reneabouquets. Other metal embellies I got at Hobby Lobby and online.

Two of the flowers I made out of Bounce sheets and inked in with Spun Sugar. The clock images are from Pinterest. Laces are from my stash. When I finished it I covered the picture and sprayed Biscotti Perfect Pearls spray mist over all to give it a little sheen.

Bottom paper is Kirby Teesdale Studio from Hobby Lobby
Roses paper is Colorbok Rosewood
Next one up is DCWV Primrose Stack
On top of that is Colorbok Vintage Treasures

Thank you so much for stopping by and taking time to leave comments. I appreciate it so much!
