I realized that I didn't add the date before uploading my layout. Anyway on the 8th of November 2015 I participated in my first Color Run. This is a run that I dreamed of doing with my husband, but Uncle Sam had other plans for him in 2015. I tried to convince a couple of my girlfriends to run with me to no avail. So I do what I do whenever I desire to do something that I really want to do...I did it alone. It was raining cats and dogs the morning of the run! The runners/walkers were told that the run would go on regardless of the severe weather conditions the day we picked up our packets. No refunds would be given. I dragged myself out of bed, got dressed, donned a rain jacket, and I ran 85% of the 3.1 miles. Although it was dark out due to the weather I had a fellow runner take my photos after the run. I had to scrap the photos, right?! Lol! My sister made my adorable tutu. I used two sheets of the same pp for this two pager. I just used the front of one side and the back of the other. I enhanced this already terrific paper with mists. I am especially proud of the right side because I had to color that one more to get my desired effect. In case you can't read my rub ons here; one says, "Too much of a good thing can be wonderful." The other one reads, "Well behaved women rarely make history." Those rub ons have been in a drawer for over 7 years! Anyway, I am submitting this layout for the 2016 Volume Challenge (#35, 36/80), the May Sticker Challenge, the May Hoarders Challenge, and a few NSD challenges. TFL and your sweet comments.

I love crafting because long after I'm gone my children, grandchildren, and great grand children can look back on the pages that I create and have a sense of who and where they came from. That's important to me.
