My unique crafting style is to think out of the box, or in this case, inside a box, but in an unexpected way. This treasure chest mini album, which opens as a gatefold bound to the sides of the box, demonstrates my love for making 3 dimensional objects into mini albums, and inventing unique ways of binding, interactivity, and photo display. Besides the technical features, this album presents my idea of what Graphic 45's Voyage Beneath the Sea would look like as a mini album. Taking themes dear to me since childhood such as mermaids (yes, I really am a mermaid. :)) sunken treasure, and giant octopuses I tried to encapsulate not only the tone, but the feelling of the paper (which is now my absolute favorite line--I'm on my second 8x8 paper pad). I hope whoever sees this box to feel "under the sea".
My reason for crafting hasn't changed much since the last time I was asked. I craft because I want to show people the world as I see it, full of beauty and enough wonder to make all the difficulties worth while
