This is a LO for the NSD 2016 color challenge (purple, pink, blue, green). I used a cut file from The Cut Shoppe on Etsy.
This is a photo of me and my mom. It was taken in 2005 when we were on a family cruise to Mexico. It was the last family trip for awhile since I was about to get married and start a family. Anyway, when I first saw this photo back in 2005 I just thought it was a bad photo of me and didn't think much of it. Now after seeing it again and knowing what was going on then and what has happened since, I found that I actually really like the picture. Journaling reads: "I look at this photo and love how it reflects what was going on back then. We were out on the deck of a cruise ship watching the sunset. My mom looks so beautiful, strong and confident; she always is. I on the other hand look scared and uncertain. I was also 20 yrs old, pregnant with my first child and unwed. So it seems fitting. I'm so thankful that I have supportive parents especially through that time and very grateful for all the help and advice from my wise and loving mom, which I still get today. Journaling May 2016.
