For lunch we stopped at a restaurant which was really a dive but it was fun. It was called Take Away Atlanta – I do not know why. Everyone got sandwiches and beer except for Bill and me. We were a bit unsure of the meat in a place like this and we don't like beer so we shared a huge order of French fries and had a Coke each. We were surprised to find the fries to be so good!

Then the last stop – to the top of the mountain! It was a HUGE mountain and took a lot of time to get to the top going through twisty mountain roads. The view was amazing – like a post card.

Unfortunately, by the time we got 2/3 of the way up we were engulfed in clouds so visibility was not what we had hoped for but it was beautiful when there was a break in the clouds And what fun to experience this mountain from the back of an open truck! There is no way this could have been as much fun or as breathtaking in a closed cab!

When we got back to the ship we each had a hot dog, only to find out that the ship was preparing a BBQ by the pool with two whole roasted pigs. We weren't hungry after the hot dogs but still managed to find room for a shared plate of fresh pork, corn-on-the-cob and I also had bbq ribs and Bill had some fried pork skins.

Whenever they roast the whole pigs, Bill always asks the person carving the roast pig for some pieces of the skin. Then he takes them to the Lido and asks them to deep fry them for him, which they always do. I haven't tried the fried pork skins, all that fat does not look good to me but Bill loves it.

After the feast I returned to our cabin to edit the pictures I took today and watch a few more episodes of the third season of Mad Men on DVD and Bill went to the library on the 5th floor to spend more time with the Gentlemen's Amsterdam Royal Chess Club.
